This beginning Conversational Spanish course will introduce students to the alphabet and simple phonetic sounds.  You will begin to understand basic vocabulary and  short phrases and will explore  cultural norms of Spanish-speaking countries.  In this course, you will begin  developing foundational listening, reading and writing skills,, as well as broaden your appreciation for the rich traditions and customs of so many around the globe.

This course includes 24 hours of classroom instruction where students will learn and practice their skills interactively.  It is for those who speak little to no Spanish but want to learn.  Join us in this creative and fun atmosphere!

Continue your journey as you build phonetics, grammar and vocabulary. Your ability to answer questions about yourself, family and immediate surroundings will emerge as you practice interacting with classmates and your instructor. Following Level I, this course also provides opportunities to continue developing articulation and fluency, as well as basic writing skills.
